Zac Efron was seen leaving NBC Studios in New York City on Thursday morning (March 1). The 24-year-old actor had made an appearance on The Today Show to promote The Lorax. He made sure nothing fell out of his pocket this time.
During the interview Matt Lauer talked about Zac’s voice over work and then brought up the incident that happened on the red carpet at the L.A. premiere of the film.
“There’s something that also brought a lot of attention to the movie, Zac, at the premiere,” Lauer joked. “Do you want to take me through it?”
Efron blushed while the video showing him dropping a condom package was being played.
“I don’t want to take you through it,” he grinned. “I never had a pocket-checking policy prior to going onto the red carpet before, but now we fully instated one!”
Lauer said.”You dropped a condom?”
“Yeah,” the actor replied. “It was really hard for you to say!”
“Better to be safe than sorry,” Lauer replied.
“It’s a great message,” Efron said.
Awww! Zac, you handled the interview well!
