The movie The Hunger Games hasn’t been released yet and Josh Hutcherson is already experiencing crazy behavior from the fans.
He tells MTV News, “We’ve seen some insane signs [across fan tours]’. ‘Is that a loaf of bread in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?’ Funny stuff along those lines. Very original. One just said, ‘I will do unspeakable things.’ I thought that was very interesting … and mildly terrifying!”
The 19-year-old actor admits he has seen the film once by himself. He adds that seeing it with 5,000 fans would be “quite the experience.”
Luckily he loves his role as Peeta Mellark.
“I’m so excited. I love Peeta so much. I think that over the course of the next couple of books, he has so many interesting places to go to, character-wise. I’m ready to dive full-force into it. When I saw the movie actually, it got me energized. ‘Let’s go get some cameras! Let’s go shoot the second one right now!’ “
The actor also reveals when he should be shooting the sequel Catching Fire.
He shares to Access Hollywood, “I’m thinking like the fall time. They’re still working on the script — they’ve got to get that nailed down and they want the first movie to come out obviously, not get too ahead of themselves. But yeah, it’s looking good. I love the second book a lot as well, so kind of diving into that is awesome.”
