Fans will be able to hold little dolls of Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Harry Styles soon. One Direction and Hasbro have teamed up to create a line of dolls and toys for America. There is a collection which already is selling in the U.K.
John Frascotti, chief marketing officer of Hasbro said, “In the short time since the group’s debut, One Direction has captured the hearts of many young fans across the world. The band is poised for continued and increasing global success. We are excited about the opportunity to provide One Direction’s very enthusiastic international fan base with a diverse product line that captures the essence of the band members.”
The line will launch globally in the fall of 2012 – with the exception of the U.K. and Ireland.
Recently the boys received £10 million from Simon Cowell for their work over the last seven months.
A source says the music mogul thinks, “They have made him an absolute fortune and he is incredibly proud. He always saw potential in them and now it’s paying off. Girls across the globe simply love them.”
For now – the band just got back to London after their whirlwind trip in America and Canada supporting Big Time Rush.
Zayn write on Twitter: “Yessss! Back in london! Sleep for the next week, don’t wana see a sole.”
