Carly Rae Jepsen and Owl City (aka Adam Young) teamed up and recorded a song together – ‘Good Time’ – and their new video lives up to the song’s name. Carly and the ‘Fireflies’ singer bring some friends along on a car ride, a day at the beach and bunch of other summer activities. Will he call her, maybe?
Adam recently told MTV about working with Carly. “It was this whole worlds-collide thing, and it was this kind of dream come true. I can’t believe it happened. [It was] so kind to lend her talent to this song, so yeah, it worked out.”
“I feel like it’s one of those songs, it kind of always needed to be a duet. That was the initial idea from step one,” he continued.
Unfortunately, Carly isn’t having such a good time when it comes to matters of privacy. The 26-year-old singer has reportedly contacted the Vancouver Police Department because she believes her phone was hacked and some racy photos were stolen. Immediately following that incident, a XXX video featuring someone who resembles Carly hit the internet, but she promptly took to Twitter to clear up the rumors:
“Crazy morning. Discovered that someone put up a sex tape claiming to be me. Ridiculous. Obviously not me.”
