She’s the bella of the ball! Bella Thorne looked like a princess as she celebrated her 15th birthday with a quinceañera on Saturday night (October 20). Bella also posted a pic of her multi-layered cake and another of her dancing with boyfriend Tristan Klier.
Not may people are aware of Bella‘s Latin heritage. Born Annabella Avery Thorne, the Shake It Up star’s father was of Cuban decent who tragically died in a car accident in 2007.
The teen overcame her personal tragedy to find success in her popular Disney show. In a recent interview with Glitter magazine she talked her favorite Shake It Up episodes. “I love the episode about dyslexia in the 1st season because I got to share my personal experience with viewers and kids that may have a disability and could relate to my character and her struggle,” Bella said.
“From season 2, I loved filming the 50′s episode and getting the chance to be retro and live in a time where things are very different than today. My last favorite would be an episode that hasn’t aired yet but is the most fun I’ve had on set. I can’t say much about it but let’s just say things are going to be very funny and very embarrassing.”View Slideshow »»
