ABC Developing Comedy Sitcom Based On Justin Bieber’s Life

Q102's Jingle Ball

Justin Bieber is getting another chance at a comedy sitcom. ABC is developing a show based on the popstar’s life. It was first set up with the network last year and now it’s been revived and under consideration again. Justin would be an executive producer with Scooter Braun. Writing the script are the other executive producers Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi.

According to TV Guide - The comedy is about a future pop star’s awkward teenage years and his unorthodox family.

The singer was recently on the Ellen DeGeneres show when he admitted he was disappointed with not getting a Grammy nomination.

He said it was definitely “a big bummer.”

“I was looking forward to [possible Grammy noms], but I know it will happen one day. I’m so young, I’m only 18. I’m just blessed to be able to do what I love every day. And the AMAs was a lot of fun for me so…Hopefully, one day.”
