Happy birthday to Cody Simpson! The Aussie pop star turns 16 today (January 11)!
Currently back on tour with Justin Bieber – he Tweeted on Thursday from Little Rock, Arkansas: “My very last show as a 15 year old. birthday tomorrow! though I’m technically already 16 in Australia.”
With almost 4 million Twitter followers and having a YouTube channel that has reached 147 million video views – Cody admits he wishes people would just buy his music rather than download it.
He said, “It hurts a little bit. When you make music, you work hard on it and it definitely hurts to have people just rip it.”
For now – he’s on the Believe tour and recently recorded a song for the upcoming animated film Escape From Planet Earth. Wishing for more continued success for Cody!
