AnnaSophia Robb was all smiles when she arrived at SiriusXM Studios in New York City on Monday (January 14). Robb – who plays a 16-year-old Carrie Bradshaw in The Carrie Diaries – was there to promote the CW series.
The 19-year-old was recently at the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour in Pasadena when she spoke about her character.
She said, “Let’s get to know Carrie [first] and see her world. And then yes, I definitely thought of different ways we will meet her three other friends. I’ve thought a lot about that. This is an origin story. I want to meet her before she had sex, fell in love and met Manhattan. I wanted to explore all of that in the first season.”
The actress also shared what ideas she and the producer Amy Harris had.
