Who doesn’t like a donut? As Taylor Swift knows, almost no one. So she brought lots of the doughy treats for her staff on Monday (February 4) to celebrate a very important milestone for her latest single, ‘I Knew You Were Trouble.’ She posted a pic of the happy campers and wrote:
“‘Trouble’ is #1 on US and UK radio so I brought donuts to work. As donuts and #1s both make me very very happy.”
Taylor doesn’t talk about donuts in her latest Us Magazine interview, but she does reveal the story behind ‘The Lucky One,’ a song on her latest album. The 23-year-old says it was inspired by people achieving fame and being told they were ‘lucky,’ but in the end the one who runs away from the spotlight might just be the happiest.
The singer says she has similar hopes for her own life. “I don’t know how I see my future ending up, but I hope I’ll know how to age gracefully and when to step out of the spotlight,” Taylor says. “I hope I’ll end up happy.”
