Nina once admitted in an interview that she hadn’t read Stephen Chbosky’s popular novel The Perks of Being A Wallflower before she got the movie script.
“A lot of people thought I was crazy,” she said. “A lot of my close friends have been personally touched and affected by the book so they were really excited that I was going to be in the movie.”
