Nina Dobrev posted photos from the 2013 Met Ball on Wednesday (May 8). The event – held on Monday – had a punk theme and drew an eclectic array of gowns. Nina wore a Monique Lhuillier dress while gal pal Julianne Hough chose a custom Topshop number.

The Vampire Diaries posed with Julianne and wrote: “Punky-licous Ladies…”

She also showed off her accessories and said, “Secret Sneak peak .. What can I say? I’m a tease :P #KimberlyMcDonald ring and #EdieParker clutch #punk #MetGala”

Monique Lhuillier also shared a picture and said, “My girls Nina and Julianne! Love our night together at the Met xx M @ninadobrev @juleshough”

Later on the besties hung out at the hotel to eat.

Hough said: “This was the end of our glorious night at the met ball… We may turn in to an actual pumpkin now!”

Dobrev has spent all week in the Big Apple. Last Friday (May 3) she spent time at the Origins store and tweeted: “Got to hang out w/ the amazing+beautiful Jane Lauder @Origins in #NYC to celebrate new #GinZing Energy-boosting moisturizer #origins #beauty”

Also on that day she did a photo shoot with Penshoppe.

The 24-year-old told fans, “Just finished shoot for @penshoppe w/ @darrentieste on a rooftop w/ stunning views, on a beautiful sunny day in NY.”

The day before Ian Somerhalder also tweeted that he did a shoot with the brand.

However it’s been reported by US Weekly that the pair are no longer dating.

A source said they are “consummate professionals,” and “will continue to work together and remain best friends, which is where the relationship started.”

Reps for the actors declined to comment on the split.
