A stylist’s work is never done. Carly Rae Jepsen went out for sushi with her stylist, who couldn’t help fiddling with the singer’s hair while she sipped her tea. The ‘Call Me Maybe’ singer posted this pic and wrote:
“Sushi date with @andrea_tiller …my amazing hair and make up stylist (who won’t take a break)”
Carly recently talked with a New York Radio station about her latest single, ‘Tonight I’m Getting Over You,’ and how it differs from her previous upbeat tunes – the song is about recognizing a bad relationship and then moving on.
“Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure all of us can admit to that moment where there’s been somebody who, you know, it didn’t just totally work out or they didn’t like you the way you wanted them to like you,” Carly says. “That’s kinda what the song is about… coming to terms with that and then moving on and, you know, doing the classic… ‘find somebody new.’”
It’s not always easy, Carly admitted, adding, “… it’s brutal. It’s the worst!”
The 27-year-old, who is currently in a relationship with guitar player Matthew Koma, says the song isn’t based on any one person. “It’s totally different relationships, actually,” she explains.
