New school meets old school: Cody Simpson posted this pic of himself hanging out with Roger Daltrey of the legendary rock band The Who at an event for Teen Cancer America, an organization devoted to improving the lives of teens and young adults with cancer. In this pic Cody learns to respect his elders. He wrote:
“Living legend Roger Daltrey of The Who trying to mess up my hair after our interview together for Teen Cancer America!”
The Aussie singer is the busiest teen in town. Besides getting ready for his Paradise Tour that starts on May 30, Cody is also releasing Surfers Paradise, his second full-length album on July 16 and his autobiography, Welcome To Paradise: My Journey, will hit the shelves in October. Whew.
“Surfers Paradise is basically the most famous area on the Gold Coast of Australia, where I am from,” the 18-year-old said in a statement about his upcoming musical release. “I think this album really represents that piece of me, my lifestyle, and where I come from.
“When making my first album Paradise, it was sort of a journey to find myself as a young adult and artist. With Surfers Paradise the entire process felt more natural and comfortable, like being back home. I wanted to share that feeling with my fans.”View Slideshow »»
