The Hunger Games: Catching Fire opens on November 22 and posters have already been revealed.
The movie’s official Twitter page recently posted a photo of Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Elizabeth Banks. The caption reads: “The embodiment of hope where there is none. @jhutch1992, @ElizabethBanks, Jennifer Lawrence in #CatchingFire”
According to the LA Times – the sequel to last year’s The Hunger Games has Katniss facing off with fellow survivors of the eponymous games in a twisted all-star edition of the annual competition – which pits teenagers against one another in a televised battle to the death.
Lawrence, Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth will also be at this year’s San Diego Comic Con to promote the film.
Based on Suzanne Collins’ young adult trilogy – there will be four installments in all. Her third book Mockingjay will be split in two movies.
Scenes were shot in Hawaii and Georgie.
Hutcherson said in an interview, “They actually built a cornucopia in Atlanta that we shot at, and it looks amazing, and the way that the spokes got out, and the way everyone comes up on the pedestals and the water — it looks incredible. I’ve seen some of the CG renderings that Francis [Lawrence] has worked on, and they look really, really great.”View Slideshow »»
