Unfortunately for fans who were set to see the The Jonas Brothers in concert in Darien, NY – they’ll have to wait another time to see them perform. The group had to call off their show on Friday night (July 19) due to high winds and lightning. Nick, Kevin and Joe each sent their apologies via Twitter.
Kevin tweeted: “Safety is the main priority and we love our fans too much to put them in danger. Sorry we cannot perform tonight. We love you we are sorry.”
Joe tweeted: “Very sad we cannot perform tonight’s show. We love you all. This weather is crazy. Stay safe. We will be back” while NIck said, “Safety is the main priority and we love our fans too much to put them in danger. Sorry we cannot perform tonight.”
Nick added, “We will be working with LiveNation and the venue on options. Thank you and love you all.”
The guys recently spoke to E! News about their excitement on starting their tour in the U.S.
Kevin shared, “We’re most excited about playing the new music, and we’re playing a lot of it, like six or seven new songs.”
Nick teased, “I think the main thing for us was to create an experience for the fans from the minute they walk in the door. It’s really a night of fun and music. We’ll be trying to use social media in a new and exciting way to get our fans involved in the show.”
The Jonas Brothers play tonight at Jones Beach in Long Island, NY.
