Jennifer Lawrence and her co-stars stopped by San Diego’s Comic Con to promote The Hunger Games: Catching Fire on Saturday (July 20). The actress was all smiles posing with a reporter named Alicia Malone.
Francis Lawrence directed the second film which brings Katniss back to the arena as a victor.
The LA Times reports Lawrence said during the panel discussion, “She’s struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder after the games while living in Victor’s Village, where she never wants for food, and feels useless. She’s adapting to a new life.”
Jeffrey Wright – who plays Beetee – said of Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson, “They have a language all their own. Half the time we didn’t know what they were talking about but that chemistry you seen on screen is reflected in their friendship.”
Talking about kissing Hutcherson – the actress laughed, “The kissing scenes are going to be really hot, if you’re into snot.”
She added, “Wearing the wedding dress was one of the hardest things I’ve done in my life. I’m not good at walking, as you know. Running and trying not to hit myself in the face with my bow, those were my two greatest challenges.”
