The producers of Glee released a memorial card for Cory Monteith today. The very brief twelve-second clip was posted on the show’s Facebook page and is titled ‘Forever In Our Hearts.’
The video features a montage of clips of Cory and his castmates, as well as costar and girlfriend Lea Michele. See the video below.
Written below the clip is, “Glee Premieres THU Sept. 26 at 9/8c, on FOX.” Shortly after Cory‘s death the network announced they would be delaying production on the show and moving back the fifth season premiere episode to Sept. 26 from its original Sept. 19 date.
“In light of the tragic passing of beloved Glee cast member Cory Monteith, the series’ executive producers, 20th Century Fox Television and Fox Broadcasting Company have jointly decided to delay the start of production of Glee until early August,” they said in a statement.
Cory played Finn Hudson on the hit series since its debut in 2009. The 31-year-old was found dead on July 13 in his hotel room at Vancouver’s Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel, and an autopsy revealed that the Canadian actor died of a lethal mix of heroin and alcohol.
