Jennifer Lawrence covers the September issue of Vogue. In the interview the 22-year-old actress shows off her funny side by talking about sponges and her intro to Jennifer Lopez.

Talking about her on-again boyfriend Nicholas Hoult – she says, “I wake up earlier in the morning when I have new sponges. That counter doesn’t even see it coming. He would never wring them out. We were in the kitchen once, and I picked up the sponge, and it was soapy and wet, and I was like, ‘See?’ These are the kinds of things that make me think we are never going to work.”

The Oscar winner admits when she was a child she used to “lie in bed and wonder” about what would make her well-known.

She says, “It wasn’t a vision. But as it’s kind of happening, you have this buried understanding: Of course.”

Because of her “unhappy” childhood her parents sent her to a therapist. It was her mom who realized because acting made her happy.

Lawrence shared, “I think all mothers are a nightmare — I don’t think you can have children and not lose your godd**n mind.”

When she was in seventh grade she got the nickname J. Law. This past Spring she met J.Lo at a party while hanging out with Jimmy Fallon.

The Catching Fire star explained, “We planned out this whole thing, where we were going to spin around and over to her and go, ‘Please dance with us!’ But at the last minute, Jimmy pooped out, and all of a sudden I spun around by myself and said, ‘Dance with . . . me?’ And she was like, ‘Thanks, I’m just gonna watch.’ ”
