Taylor Swift is in Los Angeles for the first of four sold-out concerts at the Staples Center, and at Monday night’s opening night show she had a surprise for her fans: singer Sara Bareilles came on stage to perform her hit song ‘Brave.’ The ’22’ singer wrote:
“Tonight at Staples was an absolute DREAM. @SaraBareilles came out to sing ‘Brave’, one of my favorite songs. And she completely smashed it!!”
Sara was equally excited – later in the evening she tweeted back at Taylor. “Thank you for the sparkle, the screaming, the twinkle, the dreaming, and most of all the pep talk @taylorswift13. Your fans are amazing!” she said.
Taylor‘s ‘Red’ tour has been hugely successful, and her run at the Staples Center is especially notable – when she ends her fourth sold-out show on Saturday, she’ll take the record for the solo artist with the most sellouts at the arena, with 11.
After her opening show on August 19, she surpassed Madonna and Justin Timberlake, who each sold out seven shows at Staples, and after Tuesday’s show she’ll top Britney Spears‘ previous record of eight sellouts. Congrats Taylor!
