Austin Mahone has recovered from the serious illness that caused him to cancel his MTV Artist To Watch tour last week, and now he’s thanking fans with some exciting news – the announcement of the rescheduled tour dates. He posted this pic on Instagram and wrote:
“Thank u guys for sticking with me. I’m getting better every day. I have some good news!!! The @MTV #ArtisttoWatch Tour is rescheduled!!! Check out the new dates!!!! (:”
The ‘What About Love’ singer was rushed to the hospital on October 17 with a 104 temperature and later diagnosed with a blood clot, inflammation and severe dehydration.
“They can expect a lot of things, like they can expect more songs like ‘Say You’re Just a Friend.’ They can expect a lot more songs like my current single ‘What About Love,’” he said.
The 17-year-old didn’t mention a release date for the album, but he did hint that the new tunes might have a slower vibe. “There’s some really cool ballads, maybe a couple really good collaborations,” he teased. “You just got to wait and see for yourself and get it when it comes out.”
