CTS: You are presenting at Hub Network’s First Annual Halloween Bash on October 26th. Tell us more about it!
Zachary: “Nearly 170 million people celebrate Halloween each year. Hub Television created this epic new cultural TV event to bring the haunting to viewers at home. It’s a variety show featuring pop culture and musical acts, and there will also be a costume competition with entries from all across the US. Celebrities like myself will hand out the awards to winners in different categories.”
CTS: Who are you most excited to meet at the event and why?
Zachary: “I am really excited to meet Keenan Thompson, because I am a big fan of his and SNL.”
CTS: One lucky winner will take home $25,000 and have a chance at a walk-on role on the Hub Network’s Daytime Emmy® Award-winning series, “R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour: The Series.” If you won $25,000 – what would you do with the money?
Zachary: “I’m just getting ready to learn how to drive, so I’d consider buying a Mustang.”
CTS: Do you have any special Halloween plans this year? Will you be dressing up?
Zachary: “I’ll probably hang out with my friends on Halloween night and go to a party. I’m thinking of being a gangster or Miley Cyrus.”
CTS: You are well known for your role in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid feature film series. Please share some highlights of being in the series!
Zachary: “Some of my fondest memories are of the times I played “Call of Duty” after a day on set with my onscreen dad, Steve Zahn. Also, I really enjoyed going swimming and hanging out with the cast at dinner. Those are some of my favorite memories.”
CTS: How did you get your start in acting?
Zachary: “I began acting about 7 years ago. People used to stop my mother and I and say I should be on TV, because I was a very precocious young child. The rest is history.”
CTS: Which actors and actresses would you like to work with someday?
Zachary: “One of my favorite actors is the very talented Joseph Gordon Levitt. I would be honored to have the opportunity to share the screen with him someday, hopefully soon.”
CTS: Besides acting, what other things are you into?
Zachary: “Basketball is my favorite sport, both as a participant and spectator. Nowadays, I mostly enjoy hanging out and doing things with my friends.”
CTS: What are your other upcoming projects?
Zachary: “I recently filmed a Hallmark movie called Pete’s Christmas, in which I play the character Pete. It is set to air on November 8th, so be on the lookout! I also voice the character Henry in Boxcar Children, which will be released soon. In addition, I am presently hosting the weekly Skylanders Boomcast Youtube web series, in which I give fans the latest news and tips on the new Activison game ‘Swapforce.’ I also plan to get involved in live theater in the near future.”View Slideshow »»
