Laura Marano: The 63rd Trick-or-Treat For UNICEF Campaign

THE MOMS Melissa Gerstein And Denise Albert Celebrate The 63rd Trick-or-Treat For UNICEF Campaign With 2013 Trick-or-Treat For UNICEF Ambassador Laura Marano

Laura Marano is the 2013 Trick-or-Treat For UNICEF Ambassador and she was in New York this past weekend celebrating the campaign. The Austiin & Ally star joined Caryl Stern, President and CEO of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF and THE MOMS Denise Albert and Melissa Gerstein as they decorated their own Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF donation boxes and held a Q&A with Laura to learn about the importance of giving back.

“I’m so excited to celebrate Halloween this year by encouraging kids to support UNICEF’s lifesaving work,” Laura said when her ambassadorship was announced. “The Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF campaign is a fun, easy way for kids to learn about world issues and to help other kids who are less fortunate.”

As an ambassador, Laura will advocate, educate and raise funds for the original Kids Helping Kids Campaign. The campaign has already raised $170 million since 1950 to help children around the world.

Halloween is coming up on Thursday, but there’s still time for you to participate! Though you can’t order boxes anymore, you can still get all you need to Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF by visiting www.trickortreatforunicef.org. Print the Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF Canister Wrapper and make your own fundraising container.
