Lea Michele Stayed With Kate Hudson Following Cory Monteith’s Death

Lea Michele is on the cover of Elle’s December cover. The Glee actress talks about staying with Kate Hudson the days following Cory Monteith’s death.

She said, “I called her and said, I don’t know where I’m going to go because my house is swarmed [with reporters]. She was like, ‘Oh, you’re going to stay at my house.’ Like it was nothing. She let my family stay there, and any of my friends. She made sure that in the refrigerator were my favorite juices. I’ll never really be able to thank her, truly, for what she did for me.”

Michele also shared how she’s dealing nowadays.

“Now that I’m in this position, you can choose to rise, which is what I’m going to try to do. It’s very hard.  And you have to be very strong to come out of this alive, but I think by doing the best for myself, by showing that you don’t have to lose yourself, maybe someone else will feel some sort of strength or comfort.”

Recently she posted a few photos of herself on Bravo’s Top Chef. She was a guest judge on the Halloween special.

She tweeted: “#tbt This past June in New Orleans shooting last nights episode of @BravoTopChef! Took my dad with me!”

She also showed off her sexy costume as a German barmaid for Halloween party last weekend. However on October 31 – she was hard at work with her co-stars on the Glee set.

Naya Rivera posted a snapshot on Instagram with the caption: “How the NYC crew does Halloween! @msleamichele @hrhchriscolfer”
