Young Hollywood celebs arrived ready to get hyphy at Coco Jones’ Sweet Sixteen Celebration, hosted by Pastry Shoes and Ford Driving Skills, on Saturday, January 11th. Stars Jessica Jarrel, Olivia Holt, Amber Montana, Austin Mahone, Zendaya, and more mingled in the SLS Hotel Garden Terrace in Los Angeles, Calif.

Guests were presented with the video premiere of “Glitter,” co-written and performed by Coco Jones and Katy Armiger. As Pastry girls, they act as ambassadors for the sneaker and lifestyle brand. The video commemorates the 1U campaign’s mission to empower girls and encourage them to share their voices with confidence.

The night was complete with the stars munching on hor d’oeuvres, enjoying custom beverages, posing in a photo booth, and dancing along to the catchy tunes blaring in the terrace.

Celebrity Teen Scoop was able to exclusively talk with Coco Jones, Olivia Holt, Jessica Jarrel, Amber Montana, Dylan Riley Snider, and Tyler James Williams. Read their interviews after the break.

Coco Jones

CTS: Tell us about your Sweet Sixteen birthday bash!

Coco: “I am so looking forward to getting my jam on, on the dance floor. Being with my friends is just icing on the cake. Pastry and Ford put all of this together and it’s such a blessing. I got a new 2014 Ford Fiesta. It’s bomb, it’s bomb.”

CTS: Can you tell us about the charitable aspect of this event?

Coco: “I’m working with Threads For Teens, and I asked everybody not to bring presents, because I don’t care about presents. I asked them to instead bring something that they could donate to Threads For Teens. It is a foundation started by Allyson Ahlstrom. She was fourteen when she started this foundation to help raise teenagers’ self-esteem and help them believe they’re beautiful because they are. The foundation donates clothes to them that they couldn’t get on their own.”

CTS: Why is giving back important to you?

Coco: “Why else would I be here? If you’re here and you’re up on the top level, why wouldn’t you try to change the world with the voice that you have? I think that would be a waste of time if you were just getting all of the fame and glory and not making a difference. I want to help change the world.”

CTS: You are also a brand ambassador for Pastry Shoes. What do you love about the shoes?

Coco: “I love them because they are super comfortable. I don’t like wearing high heels because they hurt and it feels like you’re walking on a tight rope. It’s dangerous. Pastry has these wedge heels, which are perfect for anyone who wants to have a little height. They have so many different designs. They’re really for everybody.“

CTS: Can you tell us about “Glitter”?

Coco: “’Glitter’ is a new song I’m debuting with Katy Armiger, my Pastry sister. The song is about self-empowerment, and it tells girls that they are beautiful, one-of-a-kind, and are made to shine like glitter.

CTS: Do you have any favorite artists that you listen to? Who would you like to collaborate with?

Coco: “Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Drake, and Trey Songz. If I could collaborate with anyone, I’d want to do something different and collaborate with Kendrick Lamar. He’s so poetic, and I would just love to have my voice in one of his songs.”

CTS Do you have any advice for people that want to be in the entertainment industry?

Coco: “I would say that if this is something you really want to do, just go for it. There are a lot of ups and downs, and a lot of obstacles, but it’s really fun. If you want it, go for it.”

CTS: What are your upcoming projects?

Coco: “I’m working on everything. I’ve just completed my music and I really wanted to get ‘Glitter’ out there, because teenagers really need to hear the song. Now I can debut my own music, hopefully around summer.”

CTS: Do you have any upcoming tours?

Coco: “I’m touring like crazy. I’m touring with Cody Simpson, Austin Mahone and so many people.”

CTS: Do you want to say something to all of the fans?

Coco: “Thank you guys so much for all of the support. It’s crazy. I’m going back to my twelve-year-old nobody self. I would never imagine I’d have so much support and love from you guys. It’s crazy. I appreciate it so much!”

Olivia Holt- Kickin’ It

CTS: What do you plan to do tonight for Coco Jones’s birthday? Have you worked with her before?

Olivia: “I’m really excited to be here for Coco’s Sweet Sixteen. She’s a sweet girl. I’ve never worked with her before, we’re just really good friends and I see her all of the time. As soon as we see each other, we catch up and it’s like we just left off where we started. I hope I get to work with her one day. That’d be really fun.”

CTS: What are you working on right now?

Olivia: “I’m working on a new Disney channel series called I Didn’t Do It, which premieres January 17th. I’m excited for that!”

CTS: Who do you play on the show?

Olivia: I play Lindy Watson. The show’s about my character Lindy and her fraternal brother Logan, played by Austin North, and their three best friends. They make their way through high school and get themselves involved in crazy shenanigans that they have to get out of. All of the characters are so different and so unique in their own way and you can see the special bonds they form. Their motto is: ‘You scratch my back, and I’ll scratch yours.’ They always have each other’s back no matter what.“

CTS: Are you guys like brother and sister in real life?

Olivia: “Yes, we spend so much time together that we’ve created this special bond. What you see in the show is like us now.”

CTS: Do you have any tips or advice for people that want to be in the acting industry?

Olivia: “Never give up and always follow your heart.”

Jessica Jarrel;- R&B and Pop Artist

CTS: What are you working on right now?

Jessica: “New music! I’ll be putting it out in the next few months. I’m so excited. It’s so different. The visuals that I have that are going to go with the songs are crazy.”

CTS: You are also a brand ambassador for Pastry. What’s your favorite part about the Pastry shoes?

Jessica: “They’re comfortable and they’re cute and fly, and they’re for women only. That’s dope. Pastry’s came along and I was like ‘Woot!’”

CTS: If you could collaborate with anyone on your music, who would it be?

Jessica: “I would probably collaborate with Drake. I love him. He’s amazing and brilliant.”

CTS: What advice to you have for young people who want to be in the singing industry?

Jessica: “It’s a lot of hard work but it’s a lot of fun at the same time. You’ve got to be willing to put that work in and do everything that it takes to get where you want to be.”

CTS: Do you have any favorite movies or TV shoes?

Jessica: “My favorite TV shows are The Walking Dead and American Horror Story. As for movies…the Grudge Match was amazing!”

Amber Montana- Haunted Hathaways

CTS: What do you plan to do tonight for Coco Jones’s birthday? Have you worked with her before?

Amber: “I’m really excited to see all of my friends, and I’m looking forward to the performances. I’m also really excited to give my clothes donation.”

CTS: You’re on the Haunted Hathaways. What is the best part about being on the show?

Amber: “I get to work with people who I love every day. We’re all a big family. I have a little sister on the show and I have two older brothers, so it’s like I’ve been able to have this little sister relationship with her, and I really appreciate that. Getting to work with a second family is great.”

CTS: What advice do you have for young people who want to get in the acting industry?

Amber: “It’s really important, especially when you’re younger, to take into consideration all of the rejection that goes along with being an actress or an actor. To be able to cope with that is an important thing you have to have. Believe in yourself. There are a lot of people out there that will tell you that you can’t accomplish it, and that’s not true. You can do anything you put your mind to. Stay dedicated to what you love if you have a passion for it.“

CTS: What do you want to do for your sixteenth birthday?

Amber: “Everybody wants me to have a big party, but I kind of want to sit home and eat chips, so we’ll see.” [laughs]

CTS: If you can work with any actors or actresses, whom would you work with?

Amber: “I would love to work with Johnny Depp. I love him and I think he’s super talented. I would also really like to work with Jennifer Lawrence.”

Dylan Riley Snider- Kickin’ It

CTS: What is your favorite part of being on Kickin’ It?

Dylan: “Being with the cast. We have really good chemistry together. We’re on our fourth season now, so we’re doing something right. We’ve become really efficient with our episodes, so being able to go in and barely rehearse and get it done right the first time is something we pride ourselves on.”

CTS: What’s your favorite part about being an actor?

Dylan: “Stepping into somebody else’s shoes. With this show, I’ve been able to grow my character and shape who he’s going to be, and have him grow with me for these past three years.”

CTS: Where do you want to see yourself in five years?

Dylan: “I want to be in school. Either my first year of grad school or last year of undergrad. I would like to do something in special effects or something.”

CTS: What are you excited to do tonight at this birthday party?

Dylan: “I love the theme. Alice In Wonderland’s been a staple in my house for a long time. My mother has decorative plates of everything Alice In Wonderland and it’s always been a big thing. I’m excited to see how it pulls off. I love the lighting here.”

Tyler James Williams- Everybody Hates Chris

CTS: Are you excited to party tonight?

Tyler: “I am. I’m happy to celebrate Coco! She’s sixteen, and that’s a big day. Sixteen’s a big birthday. The next one is eighteen, so she’s almost an adult. Let’s party, and let’s have a good time. To childhood!

CTS: What are you working on right now?

Tyler: “I’m about to leave on Friday to go to Sundance, as I have a film there this year. It’s my first time getting into the indie market, so it’s kind of scary and crazy and we’ll see what happens. We’re talking about pilots coming up, so it’s turned out to be a really great start to the year.”

CTS: You worked with Chris Rock on Everybody Hates Chris.  What was that like?

Tyler: “What you would imagine it to be! Funny! We were working and trying to make a good show, and he was taking me under his wing, and helping me be as funny as he is. That’s kind of hard. It was difficult, but it was really loose, and he helped me get into that space.”

CTS: How did you get that gig?

Tyler: “Six auditions. Three in New York and three in L.A. I had to audition in front of him twice. I think I stress-induced blocked it out, because it was such a stressful experience. I remember a few things, which was him nodding and going, ‘That was funny.’ That was it, and I think I blacked out. I stepped out of the room and just blacked out.”

CTS: What is your favorite part about acting?

Tyler: “Transforming. I feel like I’m a really boring person and acting allows me to be more interesting every day. Getting engrossed in the characters and allowing them to take over is what I love.”

CTS: What movies and TV shows do you like to watch?

Tyler: “The Walking Dead. I started Lost again recently and I’m kind of obsessed with it right now. Homeland. Movie-wise—The Hunger Games. I love the adds of Jeffrey Wright and these fantastic actors into the franchise. The Blacklist is also a great show too.”
