Robert Pattinson Was Curious On ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ Rumor

Robert Pattinson’s film Cosmopolis premiered at the 65th Cannes Film Festival on Friday (May 25). He posed throughout the day with director David Cronenberg and co-stars Juliette Binoche and Sarah Gadon.

Even for this high profile actor he believes what he sees on the internet. USA Today reports Pattinson was curious about the recent rumors that he was going to be cast in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

He says on Saturday, “I woke up this morning and saw all these things about me being cast in The Hunger Games. I was kind of curious for a second. So I called my agent. My agent was like, ‘No,’ ”

He added, “(My agent) was like no one’s going to offer you that part. I was like, thanks for the reassurance.”

Cosmopolis received a standing ovation at the screening. However Pattinson said Cronenberg had warned him of the possible audience reaction.

“David tells me the night before, ‘I’m fully expecting some boos,’ ” says Pattinson. “I was literally like, ‘Why are you telling me this?’ ”

“I literally didn’t watch one second of the movie, I was waiting for people to walk out. I was expecting a fight. It took a full three hours of continued panic. Full adrenaline. It was just too weird.”

Ashley Benson Wants To Play Anastasia In ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’

Ashley Benson and Lucy Hale took a break on the set of Pretty Little Liars to pose for a photo recently. Taken by the show’s writer Andy Reaser – the girls took a moment to get out of their Hanna and Aria characters.

Ashley wants to branch out in her roles. She stars in Spring Breakers with Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens and  has said she would love to play Anastasia Steele in Universal Pictures’ Fifty Shades of Grey.

She told Celebuzz, “I’ve read every book. I want to play Anastasia.”

Even though fans are aiming for her to play Anastasia’s best friend, Katherine Kavanagh, she’s set on playing the leading female role.

Ashley said, “Kate is awesome. I like all the characters, but Anastasia? I love her so much!”

Emma Roberts Filming ‘Empire State’ In NYC

Emma Roberts has posted a photo of herself wearing bangs.

She Tweets: “Bangin’”

Or it could refer to the new movie Empire State. She’s currently filming with Liam Hemsworth and Nikki Reed in New York City. Deadline.com reports the story is about two friends in the ’80s who pull off a heist at an armored car company. Michael Angarano, Entourage‘s Jerry Ferrara, Paul Ben-Victor, Shenae Grimes and Greg Vrotsos also star in the drama.

Plugging the film Roberts showed off a picture of her and Nikki.

“Everyone follow my lady @NikkiReed_I_Am. She is the best! We’re off to film #EmpireState as we speak! xo”

In the current Teen Vogue the actress reveals a little bit about her fashion and musical tastes.

On describing her style she says, “My style is really laid back. I live in jeans and t-shirts but I’m trying to do dresses for the summer for something different.”

When asked if she has a favorite karaoke song she replied, “My favorite karaoke song right now is “Call Me Maybe.” LOVE. And anything Spice Girls to dance and sing to.”

Justin Bieber: Getting Ready For Studio Time In Burbank

Justin Bieber was caught heading to the studio in Burbank, Calif. on Friday (May 25). Funnily enough – his shirt read “doing real stuff sucks”. He also wore red Converse sneakers and a matching red hat.

Fans are awaiting the release of Believe on June 19. For now they can buy tickets to his North American tour. He kicks off in Glendale, Arizona on September 29. The 18-year-old will hit 45 cities – with his last concert being in Miami on January 26, 2013.

His opening act is confirmed and it’s Carly Rae Jepsen. Recently he Tweeted about Carly’s performance at the Billboard awards.

He teased, “@carlyraejepsen u KILLED it last night. i think that set is going to look pretty good of the #BELIEVEtour.”

Justin recently talked to MTV about the upcoming tour.

“There’s a lot of fun stuff. I’ve been really hard at work in the studio, in the dance studio, just kind of figuring out what I want to do as far as choreography and whatnot. I think the tour’s going to be really special. We got a lot of surprises.”

Miley Cyrus & Family: Night Out For ‘Chicago’

Miley Cyrus spent time with her family going to the see the musical Chicago in Los Angeles, Calif. on Thursday (May 24).  Billy Ray Cyrus, her mom Tish, and sisters Brandi and Noah all were seen walking together as they headed to the theater.

An interview Miley did with Lifetime’s The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet aired this past week. The 19-year-old talked about her Hannah Montana days.

She said, “I feel I was so trained in my interviews to be All-American or whatever. I just got so set in the way of saying the same things I did when I was 12-years-old. I guess I kind of realized that my whole life isn’t one giant press junket.”

The Los Angeles Times reports she also said, “The girls that really base how much they’re worth on the sexual favors they can do for somebody, that makes me really sad. Because sex is actually really beautiful. It’s the only way we create, and it’s the only way the world keeps going.

Ian Somerhalder Wows Crowd At Mall Of Asia

Ian Somerhalder thrilled fans at the Mall of Asia on Wednesday (May 23).  The Vampire Diaries star has posted a photo on his Twitter page.

“Thank you Manila for a most surreal day! Look at this pic of me & 6,000 of my new friends in The Philippines. Whao”

The actor is a brand ambassador for Penshoppe and was in the Philippines to promote the company.

Talking about the endorsement he said, “I feel as though I’m part of something very special here… It’s something I think we can all be proud of, and that it’s going to produce real results. I’m really really proud to be here, I appreciate absolutely everything.”

He added, “The looks will be varied. I think we’ve covered up until, like, Fall 2045. So there were a lot of bright colors, a lot of fun, simple, soft fabrics that were really comfortable.”

Shooting the campaign in 95-degree weather wasn’t easy.

He shared there were, “pieces like jackets [in which] I thought I was gonna fall over. Once you start taking off clothing, stripping down, it’s the lighter fabrics that are pretty awesome. Those Penshoppe G-strings are awesome, I love it. It’s really comfortable.”
