Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev reunited in Paris, France on Friday (May 25). The Vampire Diaries stars hugged each other close while spending an evening in the City of Lights.
Ian had flown in the day before from Manila where he was promoting Penshoppe at the Mall of Asia. Over the weekend the couple celebrated the birthday of Julie Pec, the executive producer of The Vampire Diaries.
Ian Tweeted: “Amazing day here in Paris… Wow.Can’t wait to see @julieplec and party down in the City of Lights. He later said, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY @julieplec !!!!!! I love&appreciate you like I’ll NEVER be able to describe in 140 characters.Can’t wait to see you tonight!”
On Sunday he added: “Amazing dinner with @julieplec in Paris. Thank you Paris for a great weekend of Fans,screaming and smiles;)”
Nina recently talked about what fans should expect from her character in the fall episodes of their show.
She told US Weekly, “We’re definitely going to see her whole transition into becoming a vampire. We’re not going to skip over it, as we have with others. Becoming a vampire, everything you feel is heightened. . . We know what Elena’s like: She has high morals, she looks out for other people. So what’s Elena going to be like with those things accentuated?”

So far Demi Lovato seems to love being a judge on The X Factor. On Thursday (May 24) the Skyscraper singer, Britney Spears, LA. Reid, and Simon Cowell sat down to watch singers and groups audition in Austin, Texas.
Demi retweeted an official Fox photo and wrote: “The first view of the #xfactor judges table with @SimonCowell @britneyspears @ddlovato & @LA_Reid!”
She also wrote: “Such an amazing day…can’t wait to do it again!!! #XfactorUSA”
Rolling Stone reports that Demi played the more critical judge while Britney appeared more encouraging and positive. With Paula Abdul gone – the 19-year-old seems to be fitting right in with answering back to Simon.
At one point Cowell said with a wink to Demi, “It’s too bad we didn’t meet 10 years from now”.
Not missing a beat Demi drily countered, “More like 30 years.”
Cowell then replied, “Demi, you’re going into the naughty chair.”
Sound like this season’s The X Factor is going to be great fun to watch!
Robert Pattinson’s film Cosmopolis premiered at the 65th Cannes Film Festival on Friday (May 25). He posed throughout the day with director David Cronenberg and co-stars Juliette Binoche and Sarah Gadon.
Even for this high profile actor he believes what he sees on the internet. USA Today reports Pattinson was curious about the recent rumors that he was going to be cast in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
He says on Saturday, “I woke up this morning and saw all these things about me being cast in The Hunger Games. I was kind of curious for a second. So I called my agent. My agent was like, ‘No,’ ”
He added, “(My agent) was like no one’s going to offer you that part. I was like, thanks for the reassurance.”
Cosmopolis received a standing ovation at the screening. However Pattinson said Cronenberg had warned him of the possible audience reaction.
“David tells me the night before, ‘I’m fully expecting some boos,’ ” says Pattinson. “I was literally like, ‘Why are you telling me this?’ ”
“I literally didn’t watch one second of the movie, I was waiting for people to walk out. I was expecting a fight. It took a full three hours of continued panic. Full adrenaline. It was just too weird.”

Ashley Benson and Lucy Hale took a break on the set of Pretty Little Liars to pose for a photo recently. Taken by the show’s writer Andy Reaser – the girls took a moment to get out of their Hanna and Aria characters.
Ashley wants to branch out in her roles. She stars in Spring Breakers with Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens and has said she would love to play Anastasia Steele in Universal Pictures’ Fifty Shades of Grey.
She told Celebuzz, “I’ve read every book. I want to play Anastasia.”
Even though fans are aiming for her to play Anastasia’s best friend, Katherine Kavanagh, she’s set on playing the leading female role.
Ashley said, “Kate is awesome. I like all the characters, but Anastasia? I love her so much!”
Emma Roberts has posted a photo of herself wearing bangs.

Or it could refer to the new movie Empire State. She’s currently filming with Liam Hemsworth and Nikki Reed in New York City. Deadline.com reports the story is about two friends in the ’80s who pull off a heist at an armored car company. Michael Angarano, Entourage‘s Jerry Ferrara, Paul Ben-Victor, Shenae Grimes and Greg Vrotsos also star in the drama.
Plugging the film Roberts showed off a picture of her and Nikki.

In the current Teen Vogue the actress reveals a little bit about her fashion and musical tastes.
On describing her style she says, “My style is really laid back. I live in jeans and t-shirts but I’m trying to do dresses for the summer for something different.”
When asked if she has a favorite karaoke song she replied, “My favorite karaoke song right now is “Call Me Maybe.” LOVE. And anything Spice Girls to dance and sing to.”

Justin Bieber was caught heading to the studio in Burbank, Calif. on Friday (May 25). Funnily enough – his shirt read “doing real stuff sucks”. He also wore red Converse sneakers and a matching red hat.
Fans are awaiting the release of Believe on June 19. For now they can buy tickets to his North American tour. He kicks off in Glendale, Arizona on September 29. The 18-year-old will hit 45 cities – with his last concert being in Miami on January 26, 2013.
His opening act is confirmed and it’s Carly Rae Jepsen. Recently he Tweeted about Carly’s performance at the Billboard awards.
He teased, “@carlyraejepsen u KILLED it last night. i think that set is going to look pretty good of the #BELIEVEtour.”
Justin recently talked to MTV about the upcoming tour.
“There’s a lot of fun stuff. I’ve been really hard at work in the studio, in the dance studio, just kind of figuring out what I want to do as far as choreography and whatnot. I think the tour’s going to be really special. We got a lot of surprises.”
