Scooter Braun, Ariana‘s manager, had some high praise for the ‘Baby I’ singer. “@ArianaGrande you are one bad b#@ch!! haha. girl you can sing! #LastChristmas is incredible!” he tweeted.
Ariana talked to MTV News about what inspired her to cover the 80’s Wham! classic. “Well, I love it. It feels good,” she said. “But it has a melancholy lyric, so I like that, it’s interesting and it seems to be one of the favorites that everyone loves and we put a really fun twist on it. We took the chorus and then we rewrote the verses and all that stuff, very excited.”
